My Story
A lifelong passion for skin and science
My love for the beauty industry started young. From an early age I was drawn to the science of skin — how it works, what it needs, and how the right treatments can genuinely transform the way someone feels about themselves. That curiosity led me to the Canadian Aesthetics Academy, where I earned my certifications in Aesthetics, Medical Aesthetics, Advanced Aesthetics, and Laser Technology in 2007.
Over the next 19 years I built my career working with some of the most respected names in the industry. I honed my skills, deepened my knowledge, and eventually became a clinical laser trainer for Cartessa — one of the most innovative laser companies in North America. Training other medical professionals and practitioners keeps me sharp, connected to the latest technology, and deeply accountable to the highest standards of care.
In 2021, I took the step I had always dreamed of: opening my own practice. Beauty Laser Nerd is the studio I always wished existed — a place where the science is taken seriously, the advice is always honest, and every single client is treated like family.
I firmly believe this industry is about so much more than vanity. When someone walks out of my studio feeling more confident in their skin, that is everything to me. As a mother of two, I bring that same warmth and care to every person I work with — because your happiness and satisfaction with your results is what drives everything I do.
